What Liberty Grove Is

Liberty Grove is a community-based nonprofit focused on employment.

We are not a school, a treatment provider, or a replacement for existing services. Our role is to help young adults, families, employers, and service providers connect around real work opportunities — and to support the learning that happens through experience.

Sometimes that means pointing people to resources already in place. Sometimes it means helping clarify expectations. Often, it means staying engaged while progress unfolds over time.

Why Liberty Grove Exists

Liberty Grove exists to help young adults find, develop, and keep meaningful employment in their community.

For many families, the transition into adult work is one of the hardest steps to navigate. Expectations change, supports shift, and the world becomes less structured. Yet work remains central to independence, purpose, and connection.

Liberty Grove was created to focus on that transition — work first, growth through experience, and support rooted in real workplaces.

Our Perspective on Work

Work is more than a paycheck.

It provides:

• A sense of contribution
• Opportunities to build confidence through effort
• A way to care for oneself and others

Work is challenging. Learning takes time. Progress is rarely linear.

How We Approach Employment

There is no single path into work.

Some people need help identifying opportunities.

Others need support learning workplace expectations.

Some already have jobs and need help navigating challenges or planning next steps.

Liberty Grove meets people where they are and helps identify practical, achievable steps forward. We focus on building skills through experience rather than delaying work in the name of preparation.
