At Liberty Grove, our original vision was to create direct employment opportunities for neurodiverse young adults. As we moved forward, we came to understand just how complex the landscape is—filled with passionate people, dedicated organizations, and real challenges that don’t always have simple solutions. Rather than duplicate efforts, we’ve chosen to listen, learn, and find a better way to contribute.
That’s why Liberty Grove is now focused on becoming a trusted local hub for information and connection. We’re mapping out the services, training programs, and community efforts that already exist—and highlighting what’s working, what’s missing, and where people can turn for real support. Our mission remains the same at its core: to help neurodiverse young adults find, develop, and keep meaningful employment. We’re just approaching it with fresh eyes, deeper understanding, and a clearer sense of where we can help most.
We’re grateful to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far, and we invite you to help shape what’s next.
Liberty Grove connects neurodiverse young adults, their families, and local employers to the people, programs, and knowledge that support successful employment in our community.
The purpose of Liberty Grove is to identify, organize, and share employment-related resources for neurodiverse individuals aged 18–35; to increase awareness and understanding among community stakeholders; and to foster partnerships that improve long-term employment outcomes for neurodiverse young adults in the greater Sacramento area.
Liberty Grove is a growing local effort led by professionals, parents, and community members committed to helping neurodiverse young adults thrive in the workforce. We collaborate with service providers, employers, and advocates to understand what’s working, identify gaps, and share that knowledge with the broader community.
