Get Involved

Meaningful employment does not happen in isolation.
It grows out of relationships, patience, shared effort, and a willingness to learn together.

Liberty Grove exists to bring people, businesses, and community partners together to help neurodiverse young adults find, develop, and keep meaningful work. Whether you are offering time, expertise, opportunity, or connection, there is a place for you here.

There’s no single way to be involved. Start where it makes sense for you.

For Employers

Employers play a central role in creating real opportunity.

Getting involved does not require perfection, special programs, or prior experience working with neurodiverse individuals. It starts with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Ways employers can get involved:

  • Share job openings, internships, or transitional roles
  • Learn from other businesses about what has worked (and what hasn’t)
  • Explore small adjustments that support retention and success
  • Be recognized as a business committed to inclusive employment

Liberty Grove provides a place to connect with other employers, access local resources, and share lessons learned — without pressure or judgment.

For Community Partners

Employment success often depends on strong support systems beyond the workplace.

We collaborate with:

  • Employment service providers
  • Training programs and educators
  • Therapists and coaches
  • Nonprofits and advocacy organizations

Community partners can:

  • Share services, programs, or referral pathways
  • Collaborate on events, training, or workshops
  • Help identify gaps in local employment support
  • Strengthen the regional network of resources

If your organization supports young adults preparing for or navigating work, Liberty Grove wants to learn from you and help make those connections visible.

For Volunteers

Volunteers bring experience, perspective, and encouragement — often at exactly the right moment.

You do not need special credentials to help. What matters most is consistency, respect, and a willingness to listen.

Volunteer roles may include:

  • Career or workplace mentoring
  • Resume or interview practice
  • Job-search support and accountability
  • Sharing professional or trade experience
  • Helping with events, outreach, or resource development

Volunteers are matched thoughtfully and supported along the way.

For Families and Supporters

Supporting a loved one as they pursue work is an act of courage and care.

Families and supporters can:

  • Share insights about what has helped — and what has been hard
  • Help identify useful resources or service gaps
  • Stay informed about local employment opportunities
  • Connect with others walking a similar path

Liberty Grove exists to support the whole ecosystem around employment, including those who quietly carry much of the responsibility behind the scenes.

For Donors and Sponsors

Financial support helps Liberty Grove remain accessible, local, and responsive.

Contributions may support:

  • Program development and coordination
  • Community partnerships and outreach
  • Resource mapping and information sharing
  • Events and pilot initiatives

Donors and sponsors are partners in building long-term, sustainable opportunity — not one-time outcomes.

Start a Conversation

Getting involved does not require a long-term commitment or a fully formed plan. Many relationships begin with a simple conversation.
